Kitemark, 2011

Paint marker on wall 40 x 40cm (Executed by Jon Lilly)

Borrowed Mirror, 65 x 54 x 3cm ('Wrong Sums', 2000 reflected)

The British Standard 'kitemark' logo (which coincidentally also contains my initials) normally used to indicate items that have been tested, deemed safe and approved for manufacture by the British Standards Institute; in this case used without approval and set as if enlarged and resting on the floor.

Commissioned by Plymouth Arts Centre for the exhibition ‘Recreate A Nervy Pistol? (An Early Retrospective)'
